Zoho brings the warmth of a Chettinad home into one of India's busiest fintech exhibitions.
At Global FinTech Fest, Zoho wanted its booth to feel noticeably different from the surrounding exhibition environment. While many fintech brands competed through scale, lighting and visual intensity, Blues N Coppers executed a 54 sqm exhibition space built around accessibility, hospitality and genuine customer conversations.
The Chettinad-inspired concept came to life through carefully sourced materials, an open visitor layout and integrated technology that supported the experience of Zoho Payments.
A Fintech Space With The Familiarity Of Home
The architectural language was borrowed from the traditional Chettinad home, where an open courtyard naturally becomes the centre of gathering and conversation.
That idea shaped the booth's spatial experience: three open sides, a generous central interaction area, and minimal visual clutter that encouraged visitors to walk in from any direction. The layout allowed conversations to begin wherever someone entered the booth.
Executing Authenticity Through Materials
The success of the booth relied heavily on execution quality. Blues N Coppers sourced original Athangudi tiles directly from the village of Athangudi and transported them to Mumbai to preserve the authenticity of the flooring, while turned wooden pillars established the architectural rhythm of the space.
Coloured glass panels introduced Zoho's brand palette with restraint, allowing the warmth of the materials to remain the defining visual character.
A Layout That Invited Conversation
Although compact at 54 sqm, the booth accommodated multiple interaction formats without feeling crowded.
The open floor plan kept the central area available for product demonstrations and visitor interactions, while sales representatives were positioned across all three sides to engage visitors from different entry points.
Minimal marketing text and clearly positioned Experience Zone and Demo Zone signage kept navigation intuitive while maintaining a clean visual language.
Technology That Moved The Conversation Forward
Technology was integrated as a facilitation tool. Blues N Coppers delivered the complete AV setup, including the LED presentation screen, audio, and microphones that supported live product launches and demonstrations throughout the exhibition.
An interactive touchscreen experience invited visitors to answer questions and spin a digital prize wheel for Zoho merchandise, creating natural opportunities for the sales team to introduce Zoho Payments and its wider finance ecosystem.
Bringing the Brief to the Floor
Authentic material sourcing and precise fabrication brought the Chettinad-inspired architecture to life on the exhibition floor. The integrated AV infrastructure supported product demonstrations and live interactions, while the open layout kept the space welcoming and easy to navigate. Together, these elements translated Zoho's architectural vision into a functional exhibition environment that felt distinctly like the brand.
