India's shipbuilding companies bring naval power to the expo floor.
At the defence and maritime expo, India’s shipbuilding strength took center stage as Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL), Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), and Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) presented a 447 sqm showcase within the Ministry of Defence pavilion.
Each 147 sqm booth displayed scale models of advanced missile frigates, offshore patrol vessels, and fast patrol vessels - championing Make in India, import substitution, and home-grown design. The goal was clear: to spark collaborations, demonstrate technology, and give buyers a clear view of capability.
High arching headers and bold navy-white palettes made all three stands visible from afar. Elevated plinths and crisp diagrams framed the models; open aisles kept movement easy. Zones split static displays from networking, with meeting pods to the rear.
Large panels summarised range, speed, and mission profiles, while 360° sightlines and consistent type created an authoritative read. Massive footfall and conversations signalled strong engagement.
